2007 is blooming with great colors here at Spring Creek Cabin this year! The month is April and the dogwood trees are beautiful! The mist on the Buffalo River in the early morning makes it worth the early rising and the smell of everything 'new' is intoxicating. The river is perfect for canoeing, kayaking or hanging out in general. So far we have been busy at an earlier time this year. SPRING CREEK CABIN UPDATE
We have started out the season pretty successfully (so far) for our 1st year! We've had every weekend booked since Mother’s Day weekend. Wild Bills Outfitters have given us every referral except one and that was from Bear Creek Cabin.
Everyone that has stayed seems to enjoy him or herself. We now have a journal (natural type made out of wood, leaves, corn husks, rope etc.) for folks to sign and leave comments in. (Only good comments are allowed!)
Everyone has enjoyed the fire ring and it seems to allow the tenants a retreat back to nature, which is conveniently located right outside the ‘safe-zone’ cabin. Plus, it helps keep the area picked up of dead fall wood.
Bleu (the cabin dog) & Shorty (Bleu’s sidekick) have been monitoring each and every tenant with the noses of true bloodhounds! If the tenants like dogs and love to feed them snacks, then the pups are there on duty!
Hazel, the cleaning lady, is really learning how messy (or not so messy) some folks can be. It’s a life lesson on people. She’s already demanding more pay! Can you believe the nerve of her?
